DEFINITIONS
The following definitions shall apply unless the context otherwise requires:
- “African(s)” means African citizens or nationals whether or not resident in Africa. This also includes legal residents of an African country with the right to work and do business in that country.
- “Applicant” means an African that submits an application for participation in the Competition;
- “Application” means the online entry form for the Competition completed and submitted by an Applicant.
- “Application Window” means the period commencing from March 8, 2024, to March 24th, 2024, when Applications can be submitted.
- “Business” means an ongoing endeavor for profit carried on for no less than two (2) or three (3) years as at the time of Application, whether registered as a company, sole proprietorship, partnership or other legal entity incorporated or registered in Africa and carrying on business and operating in Africa, with an African (or Africans together) owning directly/indirectly more than 50% of the voting or ownership rights in the same;
- “Competition” or “UGH2024” means The UpGreyed Her 2024 Initiative;
- “The Company” means Grey Inc.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting your application.
By submitting an Application, all Applicants will be deemed to have accepted to be bound accordingly.
The Company reserves the right to remove, replace or amend all or any part of these Terms & Conditions without notice. It is the responsibility of all Applicants and Competition Participants to keep themselves informed as to any changes to the Terms & Conditions. The Company shall not be liable for any loss suffered by an Applicant or Competition Participant due to any changes to the Terms & Conditions, including failure to complete some or all tasks under the Competition due to such change.
Eligibility
- The Competition is open to only women who are Africans (as defined) aged 21 years - 35 years.
- All Applications must be for a Business which must be for profit, focused on one business area only and must be the original idea of the Applicant.
